Agenda of the Pew Whales Commission
The objective of the Pew Whales Commission is to consider ways to address and resolve the issues outlined in the 33 ‘elements/issues’ contained in document IWC/60/24 “Chair’s Summary of the Outcome of Discussions on the Future of the IWC” (Santiago, June, 2008) and related issues and to make recommendations accordingly, for the reform of the IWC and its constituent instrument, the ICRW, to ensure the effective operation of the IWC in the future. A Policy Guide of the Pew Whales Commission has been prepared to assist the participants in their preparations.
